CEA produces all of its products using AISI 316L stainless steel. In contemporary architecture and design, steel is considered a material of primary importance on account of its duration and related ecological advantages. This is thus a valid choice also from the environmental point of view.
The mechanical strength and hardness of steel are of course the basis of its durability. The duration of the material is moreover one of the primary guarantees of product quality, ensuring it remains unaltered in time and naturally stable under conditions of strain.
The ‘neutrality’ of AISI 316L stainless steel and its resistance to corrosion caused by external agents such as saline mist, sulphurous water, ferrous dust or simply certain acidic substances contained in foodstuffs or medical solvents make this a hygienic, easily cleaned, eco-friendly, non-toxic material.
