LAUREL WREATH

Historical beauty and modern sophistication

Russia - Saint Petersburg

Nestled in the heart of St. Petersburg, in a neighborhood rich in history, lies a 130-square-meter apartment that captures the city's essence. Situated on the upper floor, it boasts breathtaking views of some of the most iconic and picturesque landmarks, offering a serene corner of unparalleled tranquillity and beauty.

This apartment is located in a district that began to take shape at the turn of the 20th century, surrounded by buildings that showcase the Art Nouveau style. Inspired by this, interior designer Vladimir Berezin incorporated several signature elements from that era. Notable features include the large oval laurel wreath adorning the ceiling, which seamlessly connects the kitchen and living areas, as well as the green onyx used to frame the windows.

The use of luxurious materials is evident throughout: marble, a timeless symbol of elegance, complements the warmth and sophistication of oak, rosewood, and poplar root. The interiors are further enriched by a carefully curated selection of iconic furniture and contemporary artworks. In this project, every detail is meticulously crafted to tell a story, bridging the past with the present and harmonizing elegance with functionality.
