ATOLL is a kitchen island made of polished steel, a material that, thanks to its inherent brightness, highlights the elegance and fluidity of its shapes: an unexpected softness that gives the space a distinctive presence. Designed by MAO Architects, ATOLL originates from a simple and pure gesture: the curve of an atoll, that imperceptible boundary between land and water, between solidity and fluidity. In this way, ATOLL traces a natural perimeter within the domestic space, an oasis of balance. Its soft, uninterrupted curve defines the project and recalls that organic threshold, that silent dialogue between opposing elements that coexist without overlapping. This is how ATOLL accommodates the functions of everyday life with discretion, never imposing itself, returning to the space an elegant presence that is refined yet never intrusive.
