MONTPELLIER RÉSIDENCE
The beauty of thoughtful design
Canada - Montréal
Located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, on the south shore of Montréal, Montpellier Résidence is set in a picturesque environment with winding streets and ancient trees. Fully clad in brick, the house has no decorative elements, allowing the natural beauty of the materials to take center stage.
The residence consists of three distinct single-storey volumes, connected by a glass corridor. From the vestibule, two entrances lead to the main living areas. The first reveals a cozy seating area and dining room, while the second leads to a comfortable living room and an informal workspace.
At the heart of the house, the kitchen is the true focal point of the project. The elegant monolithic island with a cantilevered counter in Taj Mahal stone, which serves as the room's centerpiece, features CEA taps with a Bronze finish. The raw stone surface in shades of brown and beige gives it a unique character that perfectly blends with carefully selected materials, including dark-stained oak and lacquered furniture. The light lime plaster finish contrasts beautifully with the surrounding red bricks of the main living areas, adding a textural depth.
