APPARTMENT THA

Face au bleu de la mer

France - Marseille

Appartment Tha, located in the upland of Marseille, is a stylistic endeavour where Claire Teillet's Architecture merges '70s Brazilian modernism with Mediterranean influences, creating an ideal summer retreat. This 180-square-meter apartment features a spacious living area that adjoins a dining room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The project is distinguished by the skillful use of walnut furnishings that define the spaces by separating the living areas from the sleeping quarters, while also providing ample storage.

A notable aspect of the design is the varied finishes in the kitchen, where the walnut furnishings and the lime used on the walls and ceilings contribute to a minimalist atmosphere. The connection to the sea is emphasised by the use of blue sodalite stone for the kitchen countertop, which includes an integrated sink. In addition, satin finish stainless steel taps from CEADESIGN have been selected for the kitchen.

The materials used in the bathroom areas reflect a sense of balance and sobriety. The travertine washbasin, Paloma stone wall coverings, and the varying shades of the lime finish on the walls create a harmonious dialogue with the CEA taps from the GIOTTO collection, which feature a satin finish.
