Residential
PR_27
Black outside, warm within
Spain - Madrid
A clear and engaging vision guided the realization of the PR_27 project: to create a residence that not only reflects the unique personality and lifestyle of the clients but also establishes a meaningful dialogue with the surrounding natural context. The design intent was to give shape to a recognizable architectural identity — a personal and authentic expression, yet perfectly integrated into the landscape.
The residence explores the language of contrast as its defining element. Its black façade, composed of clean, geometric volumes, is characterized by sculptural metal elements that convey strength, rigor, and an urban elegance. In sharp contrast, the interiors offer a more welcoming dimension: earthy tones, natural materials, and varied textures create an intimate, lively, and warm atmosphere, enriched by an extensive art collection that interacts with the spaces and enhances their character.
The material palette of the interior spaces is minimal and refined: light plaster, glass, natural stone, and dark wood are integrated with furniture in original and vibrant shapes and colors. The result is a balance between warm and cool tones, between strict geometry and cozy details. These details are carefully considered, as in the case of the CEA stainless steel taps in the bathrooms: the soft, rounded forms of the GIOTTO collection echo the material language of the house, contributing elegantly to the overall harmony of the spaces.
